Good 4 lighter ATVs
Review by Gabe Hockema from Newport, OR on 12/6/2012
Took a little shopping around to find a set. One side is discontinued. Put these on my son's Raptor 125 and they seem to be working really well. He is only 9 and is still getting used to the clutch but since he only weighs about 65-70 lbs the Sidewinders do a good job of staying on top of the sand. We've been to the dunes 2 times now and the 18" paddles seem to perform great for this bike. My wife has 20" Sidewinders on her trx300ex and they are doing good as well. One thing I noticed about the 18" Sidewinders is that the tire is barely 18" from tip of paddle to tip. The paddle is deep enough to work but it looks quite a bit smaller than his stock dirt tire. I don't know if Sand Stars are a little taller or not but never the less these ones work good. To sum up-- I'm very happy with the tires and hope they keep performing as good as they have been!
