Great price on a great product perfect for vintage RZs and RDs and other 2-stroke road burners. These tires last twice as long as the other top brands and out handle them as well. They are great for sport riding and have sticky sidewalls but a hard center for long wear. I got over 7K miles on the last set. Best of all is the free shipping and they came the next day!!!
Pros: :
  • Excellent Traction

Back to the best!

Had Avon on my '07 Honda Shadow Aero 750vt when I bought it and switched at 12k miles before a long trip. Tire still had a few thousand miles left but decided to switch to Bridgestones. Had a rougher ride not as tight on the cornering and the rear tire lasted less than 6k miles before I was playing Slip-N-Slide on wet roads. MPG dropped a bit too. As soon as I got the Avon on back immediate difference and BIG improvement on ride & handling. Price was only a few bucks higher but definitely the better value.

  • Excellent Traction

K100 tire of choice

So far I'm very pleased with the AM-26 Roadriders. They corner great after a weeks use and the ride quality surpasses other brands in recent memory. I mounted a 'universal' tire as my front and directionally backwards even though the water displacement of the tread is backwards and on the front tire! I've run on wet roads but not torrential rain and they seem to hold OK. I wanted to mount the rear in reverse thinking that if the front tire would break free sooner than the rear I wanted both to react similarly but the good people at Chaparral convinced me to remount it honoring the directional arrow. No complaints so far and the ride is the best I've experienced on my K100RS. Color me pleased.

I only have about 200 miles on these tires so far but they have been a huge improvement over my old rubber. My classic CB750 has never been so sure footed.

Used as a front tire

My previous tire was an Avon Venum R so i wanted to stick with the same tire however they do not make it anymore in my size. So i bought this one that has a 7.5mm tread dept. The tire did not install as easily as the R but the ride so far is great. The grip seems fine in the rain also. Time will tell how it wears.
