Awesome Tire

I put this tire on my 1983 VF750F Interceptor. This tire has excellent handling and grip in both dry and wet conditions. Being a Sport Touring Tire on a smaller lighter bike I expected to see good mileage numbers from the tire; on the odometer of (12K-15K). Ended up getting around 10K. I attribute the reduction in mileage to the fun I was having carving up the canyons and back roads around the central coast of California. The grip is excellent and the tire is forgiving when approaching Max Grip. Highly recommended.
Pros: :
  • Excellent Traction

It's ok

I read numerous reviews on this product and everyone had great things to say about these tires including how many miles they could get out of them. Wet traction was great as well as dry traction but I couldn't get more than 5k miles of wear without having to replace them. I didn't spin my tires just rode my motorcycle everyday all over the central time zone.

Great long life tire

I bought these tires a little over a year ago before a 4000 mile trip to the west coast with lots of gear. Mounted them on a BMW F800ST in place of Michelin Pilots. They performed very well on mountain curves and in the rain in Washington (yeah it rains there). Got better gas mileage too. Ran them 36-42 (F-R) PSI. Now have over 6K on the tires and they still look great with lots of wear left. Would recommend them to anyone.

Avon Tire

Just ordered my second set of these. The improvement and ease of handling over previous brands was immediately felt and I have never gotten as many legitimate miles (not with worn out tread) on any other brand. They were recommended to me by a bro I would do the same.

Great in all ways

Will run flat and is hard to tell when it is flat. Tread life is shorter due to softness but a welcome sacrifice for performance. Outlasts others in its size and speed 2 to 1

  • Excellent Traction
