very good looking tire nice tread, but it could be a better profile . I did not like the way it looked on my 21-3.5 rsd mission?

I do get the typically "Feathering" that Goldwings get, especially on the Front tire, I have not gotten the aftermarket brace yet for the forks, I'm trying the ceramic balance beads for motorcycles, similar the "equal" system that semi trucks use, feels better, haven't put beads in rear yet, I ride year round, just about everyday, parking is bad where I live, & the Wing is used for commuting, shopping, recreational riding, ect. I have had Avons' twice on front, several on rear & will continue to get. With good to reasonable tread get good wet traction, slide predictable in wet, (I ride HARD), & reasonable cold traction, I keep TP (Tire Pressure) in check. I did "plus size" the rear tire from the stock 60 series to a 70 series, just a little bit more ground clearance in corners but a tight fit installing on center stand.... BUT DO ABLE, also, speedometer seems more accurate with 70 series, handling will take a few rides to get use to with the 70 series, (feel a little higher up), with air suspension at max (25). I feel I made the right choice in plus sizing the rear, FYI since this is a product review for the front tire.

First put these tires on I thought they were awesome. I have about 2,500 miles and the front tire is getting big tears at the center groove. Same exact spot all the way around the tire. Second time for Avons and never again. Emailed them and no return email. (Twice) Going to Metzlers. At least they got customer service. FYI: If you buy tires here (Chaparrals) and they start to go bad. You'll need to take them off and send them in before they will do anything. So you'll bike will be down for awhile. Emailing photos doesn't help. They have great prices. Customer service needs improving.

This was a great alternative to the stock tires on my 08 Harley Road King (FLHR). the Avon tire rides much smoother and gives a much better feeling of confidence leaning into the corners. Honestly the difference was like night and day ! My big Road King actually "flicks" to use a sport bike term. Much more responsive to changing directions. That's saying a lot for a bike this heavy. I'll never go back to "harley" Dunlops.

for 2010 GL1800 wing. I have 30k mi on 3 different sets/ mfrs of tires. Avon has given me the best performance & mileage vs Dunlop D250 (OEM) & Elite#. Cupping was less pronounced, better stability & handling. Added Centramatic balancers (HIGHLY recommend) & the increased feel of 'connection' to the road is outstanding! In addition, will undoubtedly increase tire life as well. This is my second set of Avon Cobras, first set was 11k mi (w/o Centramatic).

This is my second set of Avon Cobra tires for my Yamaha Raider. I was impressed with how they griped the road, even in the rain. I got about 10,000 miles out of the front and the back tires.
