Very satisfied with the tire so far I switched over from E3s which are good also. Give me six months and I will tell you what I think of the wear. Excellent on sandy pavement and wet weather traction. Be brave and lay it over on that corner they will hold.

Tires splitting and Avon will not stand behind them. Two tires split and like an idiot I bought another to match my front. Never again. I would run from these tires and don't look back.

Best tire for the Valkyrie handles well The AV 72 by Avon seems to be even better than the early issue . Not as much noise as the Dunlop just hope to get good life out of it. They say the Avon has better tread life than the Dunlop , Bridgestone and Metzeler time will tell. Also, this was the best price I could find.

Just an awesome tire! Have about 200 miles on it and it's night and day compared to the stock Metzler 210 on my Raider. Cornering is better, you can pitch harder into corners, aggressive read and menacing stance. Lots of tread compared to others I will update with mileage down the road. VERY pleased, if your a Raider owner don't think this through order now!

I'm curious to see how long the tread life is but so far the tire has been great. The traction is amazing, even going through some wet. The feel is fantastic as well. The ride has improved and handling is better than the bridgestones or metzlers I had before.

Installed the Cobra Radials to replace a set of New Continental Conti-Motion Radials, (Very Bad Tire)on my 2003 GL1800. "WOW" What a difference Smooth, Quiet, Very Responsive tire. 4K miles, No Cupping or strange wear. Having the tires Nitrogen charged and using Ride-On tire sealer/ balancer benefits this excellent tire even more.

See other review of front tire. Ordered, in error, the 70 series profile vs 60. makes for difficulty getting off center stand for 2010 GL1800 wing, plus it prohibits lifting rear tire off ground to free spin & cannot jack up the front tire w/o lifting center-stand & making bike unstable. My error.

Got this Avon 240 to replace the worn stock 220 on my Raider, looks and works great !!! Very deep tread, and slightly taller sidewall so it corrects the speedometer error...

Honda GL 1800, 70 series is taller and corrected my speedometer and gave the bike a little more clearance. i do feel a bit of sidewall flex but really like this tire.

The only tire on my VN 2000 to go 3000 miles better than all other tires 200-60-16. The bike drives very smoothly with these tires. Rode 300 miles in pouring rain on back roads and up and down hill with large puddles. My son as a passenger and I felt safe at the posted speeds.
