I installed this on a V-Strom 650 after the original trailwing wore out at 8000 miles. The Battlewing lasted 14,000 miles - excellent!! Good traction wet or dry. I ride to work 45 miles daily, rain or shine, hot or cold. I also use full throttle starts and I'm hard on the brakes, yet never had a problem or concern with my tires. 100% street use only.

My 2008 BMW R1200GS came stock with the Battle Wings (BW-502 Rear, BW-501 Front)
I put another BW-502 on the rear at 13,000 miles and the front is still going strong.
Great tires for easy trail riding and wet paved roads.
Getting ready to order a complete set just to have them on hand.
