Continental Conti Trail Attack Dual Sport Radial Front Tire - Reviews

Review this product
New to GS
Review by Bill from Santa Paula, CA on 9/18/2012
I just bought a BMW R1200 GS. It came with Continental TKC80 tires but since I mostly use the bike for commuting I wanted something smoother and more road friendly. The knobbies lost too much traction on tight cornering on streets. I swapped them out with the Trail Attacks and noticed an immediate smoothing of the ride and improved cornering. The day I bought them was a rare day in California with rain so I got to try them out on wet surfaces. Being they were brand new I didn't test them too much but they stuck to the wet, greasy roads without any slippage. A few days later I took them on some fire roads and were surprised at how well they handled and gripped the loose dirt and gravel. I've put about 1,000 miles on them now and they still look new.

I had this on the front of my KTM 950 ADV S tire works great in rain and dry I did not try off road but don't kid yourself its not a knobbie tire. I was able to corner hard enough on a ride with them that I dragged my side bags riding with my buddies on there sport bikes. I did every thing they did so the tire sticks great.
