Better than the rest

This is my second Cortech GX Sport jacket. The first one lasted three years of year round riding. (including three or four spills) The fit and cut is excellent. I have a size Lg Tall Im 6'3" and 225lbs. This jacket keeps me warm down to about 35 degrees F and with the liner out keeps me cool to about 85 degrees F. After doing the asphalt slip and slide a few times (mostly under 40 MPH) it finally started to look a little scuzzy so I bought the Sport 3 and continue to be thrilled with the quality and fit of the GX line. I guess if i had to put a con in here it would be that when all the vents are open and your going above 50mph the jacket tends to balloon up a bit. That being said it sure is nice to have all the air around you on a hot day. In my older GX sport jacket the elbow pads used to slide down the sleeve so I had to work the pad back up the sleeve before I put it on but with the GX Sport 3 they seemed to corrected this problem because the elbow pads are now always where they are supposed to be. I also have a Cortech of the same model in the mesh version and though I really don't like to wear mesh jackets it is incredibly comfortable on really hot days and features the same great fitment and quality as the non-mesh version. These jackets offer exceptional quality at a very reasonable price. I've tried other brands like Joe Rocket and Bilt and Sedicci but none of them can compare.

This is by far the best textile jacket I have ever owned. I'm on my second one. I went down twice while wearing the first one over the course of three seasons and this jacket never let me down. I'm 6'3 and 210 lbs and had a XL for my first and a L Tall for the second. The L Tall fits perfectly. I find it comfortable to wear from 35ºF to 85ºF. Anything much above or below those temperatures and you may want to look at something else. Vents work great. Liner keeps you warm. Jacket is very durable. The one and only complaint I have is that the elbow pads tend to shift or slide down the sleeve. A small concession given the rest.

An outstanding good looking motorcycle jacket. Fit is almost perfect. Like the soft collar and the breathable features as well as the liner for cold weather riding.
