I have had great luck with these tires. They wear evenly and have good traction in all types of weather.

Poor Quality

Have airhead BMW. Had at least 4 491 Elite 2's. Loved them! They lasted 13-14k. The 404 is a good looking tire looks like the 491 but I have to say it's only a poor quality over priced look-a-like that's good for 6k miles. Bring back the Elite 2. I have friends who also share this sentiment....By the way the front 404 is also not very good in the mileage dept. but I can say it's "ok". For your information my bike is a daily rider. Rarely do I reach 70 mph. Starts and stops are typically done smoothly...I've been riding this machine 29 years so I do try to be gentle.

These were OEM tires that came on my 05 Honda VTX1300. I put 21000 miles on them so thought the 2nd set should be the same.Great tire for the money.
