I broke in the boot after my first wear, approximately 2 - 4 hours of wear and riding. Nice snug feel. Very comfortable. Easy gear shifting, good grippy sole, not that easily to walk much in, but then again they are cycle boots for riding/racing. The velcro strip stays on and in place, the buckle snap locks and takes some real effort to unlock. Overall, Fox Racing Comp 5S Shorty Boots are a great buy certainly for the cost. I would highly recommend the purchase of these great, comfortable and useful boots. Hey, did mention they also look good!
