I have used this tire on a KLR 650 and a XR 650L for years now. It works so good for true dual sport riding, great on the pavement and gravel, even in the mud. I can't think of anything that I can find fault with. I get about 3000 miles on it.

GREAT tire. The GP-1 is quiet, gets a great (dual sport) bite, and has good street manners. I had the kenda 270's on a DR650, they were loud and flexed a lot on the street. Spend the few extra $$ and get the IRC GP-1
