My friends and I have coined this tire the "Cheese Wheel"....After a 30 mile ride on mostly single track I came back to find 4 knobs completely gone!!!! Don't buy this tire if you ride anything but silt!

Bike: 2011 KTM 250SXF
Tire size: 110/100/18
Setup: 5-8 PSI (5 for the slow technical stuff and 8 for the faster stuff)
This is the best tire I have ever used in the north west trails. I ride very tight and technical trails with lots of log crossings and root/rock step-ups. The knobs are huge, soft, and sticky. The tire hooks up on wet logs/rocks almost as good as a trials tire. And unlike a trials tire works well in mud and snow.
I currently only have 5 rides on the tire but it is holding up really well. The knobs are just starting to round a little but traction is still as good as ride one.
The sidewall is rather tall and soft so you will notice some laziness to the rear end when cornering. Similar feel to a trials tire.
This is the first tire I have ever felt compelled to review.

I am on my second VE33 rear tire. I think it's a great all-around tire and contrary to the review above, I got great tread life out it in Central TX which has lots of rocks (sharp rocks at that). My first tire lasted me about 40hrs ride time. The front version lacks some in traction, but the rear is great IMO. I wanted a tire that works well in varied terrains and this one seems to fit the bill.
