Joe Rocket Speedmaster 5.0 Jacket - Reviews

Review this product
Nice Heavy Jacket
Review by John from Pasco, WA on 4/11/2011
The jacket seems to be well constructed. The box it was shipped in said 11 pounds, and it feels like it! Very sturdy! It will be a great summer jacket as it has mesh on the front of the arms that breathes very well even with the liner in it. The perforated leather also breathes well. I rode with it on in 62 degree weather and it was fine, and rode home with it when it got down to 54 or so and it was on the too cold side, even with the liner in it and a long sleeve knit shirt. It looks great and will be my jacket of choice to wear in the summer. I weigh 210 and am 5 feet 11 inches tall and my waist is 36-38 inches and I had to cinch up the adjustable velcro waist straps a little to get it to be just right, but the sleeves were just a little too long, but it is not the end of the world. I also found that I had a little difficulty turning my head to look behind to see and not "trust my mirrors", but that could have been my helmet interfering with the jacket. I will have to try another of my helmets to see if it is the jacket's fault. All in all, if I had to go down in the summer, I hope I am wearing this jacket. Ride safe!
