Kenda K673 Kruz Front Tire - Reviews

Front tire
Review by Paul from Huntington, WV on 8/10/2011
Good looking tread, but not very deep tread. Still the K673 holds great in curves - good tire and tread should be deeper.

Love the tires
Review by GW Nail from Richmond, TX on 10/15/2011
These tires "feel" much more solid than the Continentals I had on my Vulcan 1500 Classic. They are reasonably priced, good tread, much less road noise and they don't grab every little line or crevasse in the road or jerk the steering out of my hands like the old ones did. Love these tires and will buy again from Chaparral since they have the best prices and excellent service.

First off, shipping was amazing... ordered at Noon on Tuesday and they were in my driveway at 11am on Thursday! I've ran Kenda tires on dirt bikes before, so I know they are a really good brand, at least in the dirt/mud. I purchased these on recommendations from friends that are running them on their mid-size cruisers with very good mileage and excellent traction wet and dry. I mounted them using DynaBeads onto my Shadow and saw immediate improvement in handling, stability, cornering, and smooth ride... even without break-in period of 100 miles. I've now put 500 on them, and they just keep getting BETTER! These are my new, favorite tires! I hope to get at least 12K on them, like my friends get on their Shadows, Vulcans, and V-Stars.

Great smooth ride
Review by C. Harper from Chillicothe, OH on 8/19/2012
Great riding tires. I will buy them again. I doubt they will last 4k miles. But, if you don't mind changing them a little more often, you'll have a better riding experience. Overall, I think they are great tires.

Very satisfied
Review by Robyn Schappaugh from Platteville, CO on 8/24/2012
I am running the Kenda Cruz high mileage tires front and back on my 87 Kawasaki Voyager. The front tire seems to be working and handling very well so far. I put over 1000 miles a month on my bike and travel on both paved and gravel roads every day. I am looking forward to seeing how long they last compared to other tires I have used. So far, I am very satisfied with the tire and its pricing.

Why Pay More
Review by William Harlow from Irvine, KY on 9/26/2012
Stock Dunlops are horrible, and when it comes to tires, how they perform and last are more important than the name on the side! Kenda has been a top name in off-road tires for decades, and their street/cruiser tires perform just as well. I have these on my Shadow, with 4,500 miles. They show little wear, great traction on dry pavement and in rain. I'll never pay for the big-names again, as Kenda performs equally, if not better!

V-Stars
Review by Bartman from Roseville, MI on 10/5/2012
Great tires and price lasted longer than my last purchase on a higher price tire. Second set got 10,000 usable miles on first set, bought this new set without a second thought of trying something else. Great in water and handle well in colder temps.

2002 Harley
Review by Walt Bass from woodhull, IL on 5/9/2013
I only have 1,000 mi on these tires, so not a lot to base this on. They seem to handle well in tight curves, and high speeds. However, the one time I did get caught in the rain they did break loose when taking off- 1st, & 2nd gear, until they warmed up. I ride a 2002 Harley classic, and ride between 25,000 & 30,000 mi. a year. I have always ran Dunlop tires, but for the money if I can get 10,000 miles out of a Kenda I will keep running them.

Traction feels stable, but feels heavy on response in reagards to swerves or weaving. Did not experience any slippings within the first 130 miles of wear.
