Kenda K784 Big Block Rear Tire

The 140 is wide, but did fit fine on my KTM 525exc dual sport. The Big Block tires made the bike look tougher than the previous DOT tires I had on, and they look like they will handle off road trails much better. Not sure about durability yet. We don't have enough miles on them to say.

Surprisingly good grip on and off road. Very predictable in high lean angles. Loose sand and gravel are not an issue you won't be winning any races however, great tire over all for everyday use. I am comparing to tires such as mt21 and mh xc from pirelli. Knobs are not as aggressive, also shorter in height down to around 10.5mm from mt21 which is 14.5 mm. This makes it more stable on road and gives a better predictability in corners on road (doesn't feel like the knobs are flexing under you, as if the bike was sliding). Overall pleased with this tire so far. Also, I am using an mt21 on the front which offers good grip in wet and dry pavement or not, mounted on an 07 aprillia sxv 550 with dirt setup 21 and 18.

I'VE NOW USED THESE TIRES AS A REPLACEMENT FOR MY OEM 2009 KLR 650 TIRES. I'VE USED THEM IN EVERY SURFACE IN VARIOUS PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, AND FOUND DEEP MUD AND SAND TO BE THE ONLY PROBLEMS (I'M NOT SURPRISED, IT'S NOT THEIR PURPOSE). I MUST SAY THAT WHILE I AM VERY HAPPY OVERALL AND THEY ARE AN AWESOME TIRE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE MONEY, I JUST WISHED THEY LASTED LONGER. THE REAR WAS DONE AFTER ABOUT 3000 MILES AND THE FRONT NOW HAS ABOUT 4000 MILES ON IT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GOOD D/S TIRE

I bought this Kenda K784 Big Block Tire because of the price; a lot less expensive than the Continental. I used it on a 1200 mile adventure ride in Northern Nevada this May. It performed very well for the ride. I rode 900 miles off-road during the trip. It has about 3/4 tread life left. I think for the $, it is a great tire.
