Super tough tire. If you are on a budget and need a tire that will hold up then the Maxxis IT is a good choice. You won't believe how long this tire will last you. I don't race but heavy trail ride. These are a great tire and very cheap price. I have found nothing that lasts longer.
Fabulous trail tire

I have this tire on my 2005 Yamaha WR450F. It gives great performance on the Colorado mountain trails. It always hooks-up well on loose dirt, gravel, light mud, light sand, rocks and boulders. Besides the price, the best feature is the tire's life expectancy. It lasts much longer than other tires costing more. For the annual pilgrimage to Moab, Utah, I put on a fresh set and ride with confidence for the entire week. After the hard trip, there is still considerable life left. I am definitely sold on the Maxxis Maxxcross IT tires.
very pleased

I ride often and have used a lot of different tires but the Maxxis Desert IT is the one that I like the best. I have a Yamaha WR450 and the tread pattern hooks up real nice.
