Maxxis Maxxcross EN M7314 Rear Tire - Reviews

Decent all-arounder

I took the stock D756 D742F combo of my 450X because the knobs were rounded off and the tires were a few years old. The tires still had decent tread and were by no means worn out but they were beginning to lose traction and just needed to be replaced.I installed the new Maxxis EN's front and rear. The first thing I noticed was how similarly they handled compared to the Dunlops that I had replaced. The EN's front tire hooked up better and didn't wash out during cornering like the Dunlops did. They simply had a better balance of traction front to rear. The rear really woke up when I let the pressure down to 8psi.After some experimentation riding in the woods of Tennessee I have settled at (for the time being! LOL) 12psi front and 8psi rear. Overall a good solid balanced tire combination.
