This is a great tire. I have had an 880 on the back for several years (Suzuki 1400 Intruder). These tires offer very good traction (although I don't push it that hard), a great ride, and the wear appearrs to be very good also. I would recommend this tire for similar applications.

So far the tire is great. Price was right! Shipping was fast ! They replied when I asked questions. And were very helpful ! Can't say anything about thread wear. I've only put a few hundred miles on it so far.

I put this tire on my Vulcan 900 to replace the original stock Dunlop d404 and what a difference it makes. The ride is way smoother, cornering on winding mountain passes is nearly effortless. I never thought there could be such a huge difference in brand of tires until i tried these. Definitely worth a little extra cash for these tires.

Worse tires ever made .Here's why; Got front and back met 880, got only 6,000 rear and 10,front on my Yamaha 1100 v star Silverado. Handled ok but poor wear. Normal wear is 14,000 rear and 30,000 front. Also the sidewalls cracked on front tire. When I got then they had a newer date stamp on it. I will buy Sinko or Kenda for half the price and better ratings. Maybe why they cost so much if they know you will only waste your money one time on them.

I just recently replaced my stock Dunlop front tire on my VTX 1800F with the Metzeler ME880. What a great tire compared to the stock tire! I bought my bike new so I know what the Dunlop felt like brand new. The Metzeler is unbelievable in the corners and straight line stability. I cannot comment on tread life but even if it lasts just as long as the stock tire I will be more than satisfied. The price and time frame in which I got the tire from Chaparral was awesome. If you want a great tire, this is the one!

The only thing better than the product is the customer service. I ordered the tire on line for Will Call and picked up the tire two days later. I had Chaparral Service department install it on my bike and the cost was very reasonable. They even checked the brakes in the process and gave me a verbal report when the work was complete. I buy from Chaparral anytime I need something for my bike.
