I have never had a better tire on my BMW R1200GS. Rears are going 11000 to 12500 miles and fronts are easily doing 15000 miles. (90% pavement & 10% dirt and two-up much of the time)
Pros: :
  • Excellent Traction

This is the Michelin Anakee #12 for me. I have put 125000 miles on my BMW and have never put another tire on it. Traction in all road conditions is excellent especially on wet pavement and in driving rain. Not as good on gravel and dirt as other more intermediate tires but if you know its limitations it is more than tolerable. I routinely get in excess of 10000 miles on the tire unless I have a road hazard issue.

  • Excellent Traction
