Have only had the tires on for one week, but alresdy like them better than dunlop. Wanted to go with Dunlop, but they don't make a tire for a 2006 ultra with the new tread design, guess they don't want the older bike market. Had a michelin commander on the rear before, but put the new commander 2s on both front and rear because of the new tread design. So far they seem to do everything they claim. To early to know about tread life, but we shall see. I would say Michelin has a big hit on their hands. Thanks to Chaparral for a great price!

I cannot comment about tread life, since I've only put about 500 miles on the tire, but the overall performance seems as good as the Metzeler it replaced with the added benefit of being quieter on most road surfaces. Very good tracking on steel deck bridges.

My first Michelin
Review by J. Reed Gurney from Geneva, FL on 8/14/2012
Hard to say on Tread Life just over 600 miles. First 100 miles were to feel out new tires and run some heat cycles. Here in Florida in August 20-30 miles will give them some heat. The next 100 was pushing more and more to find the slip point. Now I'm just loving them.

Review by Dave from K.C., KS on 8/28/2012
I only have 1000 miles on this tire, so I can't speak of tread life. I have 3-4 thousand miles on it's matching rear tire. When I first added the front tire the bike seemed very sensitive to wind, from any direction, and irregularities in the road surface. It would feel like it wanted to swing out from under me. After wear in and getting used to it I am totally comfortable with it's handling characteristics and tracking cornering ability. I would recommend it to a friend. If it gets the promised mileage I will be a true fan.

I only have about 100 miles on them so far but they do handle very well and the ride is better than the Dunlops that came on my road king. Tread life I don't know because I only have about 100 miles on them. Great Price.

Not quite broken in
Review by Scott Flurer from Bethlehem, PA on 9/11/2012
Tires have not been run in rain yet but otherwise are a big improvement over the stock Dunlop D402. After a weekend trip of about 600 miles, they ride great, handle great and are good on open grate bridges. I bought them after the claims of much higher useable tread life.I generally ride about 12,000 miles a year round, so I'm hoping the rear last 2 years or more. Another big surprise is the low price. Front and rear cost me $239.00 compared to stock replacements costing $340.00 and only lasting 1 year.

Very fast shipping, and seems to be a good quality tire. Noticed big difference In ride and handling , all for the better. A big step up from stock Dunlops. Have not been in rain yet so can't comment on that, 700 miles on them an nubs are still there, hopefully they will be all that Michelin claims they will.

Review by chuck from South Lyon, MI on 10/9/2012
I've had many tires on my 2005 electric glide classic (70,000) and these tires are the Best tires ever made for a motorcycle. Just like Michelin's for your car, these ride, corner, brake and handle better than any other tire out there. You'll notice the difference after the first ride. Don't know about the wear yet, as I only have 300 miles on them so far. Buy both front and rear, install them and you'll be writing a review just like this one.

Ops Manager
Review by Stan Hubbard from Lynchburg, VA on 10/23/2012
I already have 8,000 miles on these tires and they show little sign of wear. I have been on Hwy 129 Tail of the Dragon three times with them and they perform exceptionally well. The heavy grooves on the outer sidewalls are noticeable in heavy turns when the bike is leaning hard, but it is manageable. They are surprisingly stable in heavy rain conditions and do not hydroplane as bad as my stock tires did. I will definitely stay with these tires, if they ever wear out.

Review by Polarbearfw from Fort Worth, TX on 10/25/2012
I have yet to experience a negative with these tires. I tried them on a whim, looking to find the best for my budget as well as my ride. I'm a daily rider so I'm in and out of varying conditions in both weather and traffic situations and I must say these are probably the the best tires that have ever been slapped on a roadking. At least, they are the best that have ever been on mine.

Best Tires
Review by Clean Dean from Wildomar , CT on 12/5/2012
This tire has been the best tire ever. I used to burn through tires in a couple of thousand miles. So far the back tire has lasted well over 10k and the front tire has superior performance and quality over the competitors. I would recommend these tires to anyone who is looking for something better at a comparable cost

Review by Stanley Hubbard from Lynchburg, VA on 3/14/2013
These tires have been on my bike now longer than the stock Dunlops and don't even show signs of wear yet. I have been on the Tail of the Dragon 3 times and have rode coast to coast and after 12k, they still look new. They handle exceptionally in water and have very good traction. I have a 2012 Limited and even loaded down, have no problem leaning it over enough to scrape foor pans and mufflers. These are the only tires I will ever have on my bikes.

Just put it on
Review by robert from shreveport, LA on 5/3/2013
Just put the tire on and went for a ride. I have always run Dunlop on my big Harleys, but this tire rides much smoother, looks great also. If it wears as the manufacturer claims, I will be running them from now on. Very pleased with the price and quick shipping. Thanks guys.
