I'd buy again

I put this tire on my DR650 to ride Big Bend NP. On pavement or dirt it did a fantastic job. It seems to be wearing slowly but after a while started to howl on the pavement. That didn't affect ride-ability at all just noisy. I wouldn't hesitate getting this again. I've been told they wear out a little quicker than other tires but so far it's working fine for me. 13080-17 on the rear. At home I ride mostly pavement. There are other DS tires much better suited for mostly pavement as this tire is more dirt oriented.

Good dirt tire that can go on the pavement very little. VERY NOISY on the pavement! Back end will step out if you get aggressive on pavement. Awesome in the dirt.

These are the best dual-sport tires I've ever used. More aggressive than TKC-80 but better on road too. Ran them at 20psi thru rocks and mud on an F650GS and they did great. Excellent traction on any trail surface. Where they really surprise you though is on the road. At 2830psi they grip wonderfully on pavement even wet pavement. They are definitely loud and seem to howl especially loud around 45mph they quiet down a bit above 55mph. Only negative is they seem particularly squirrely on grooved pavement like in construction zones.

I'm looking for a replacement rear tire that would last longer than the stock dunlop..are these the tube type? I'm thinking of sticking with tubes as I've heard tubeless can lose air and be problematic...
Jay, Fort Fairfield
All our tires are Tubeless (TL) unless stated in the description as Tube Type (TT) You can still use a Tubeless tire on a spoked rim that requires a tube to stay inflated.
