I own a defender 4000 ? and the fit and features are great. I got a BMW r1200c (2000) and naturally got another Nelson rigg. It was a little light in weight, but that was ok as my other one has survived snow, hail and rain with no blemish at all. The fit is so bad, that I will give this to someone when I can get a proper replacement. It is not long enough as it will only cover a small part of the front wheel. It is not wide enough to cover the side pipes all the way. This was with the front wheel pointed straight. If I lock the front, as it is parked outside, the whole. Over becomes askew. As it pulls over, leather saddlebags become exposed. Sorry to say this is not a good product. I called Nelson rigg and was told this cover was discontinued. I can see why.
