These bags are very stylish and fit very well on sport bikes. The advantage of having the expansion zipper is second to none. There's more than enough room to put clothes or towels if you're going to the beach. Laptops aren't the best fit though. The Rain hood is also pretty neat. Folds out from a zipper on top near the handle. It's also important to note that these bags have a double zipper on the top with velcro and you pack and remove from the top. Although, It does look like the side of these open up from the styling. There are also quick release straps to mount to the bike for added stability. Overall, These bags are worth the extra few dollars.
