I have done reviews for at least two weeks on which was the best tire for my cruiser and found no negative reviews on these tires. I am very pleased with this tire so far as it handles great & Chaparral did an awesome job both pricing and shipping it to me. Haven't rode but around 100 miles on it so far (that's the only reason for the 3 star rating on tread life) but will differently buy a PIRELLI MT-66 tire for the rear of my Nomad in about 1500 more miles. THANKS CHAPARRAL!

Part one of two part review.... I bought this tire to match with my rear Pirelli Mt 120/90, used on a 1965 Triumph daily rider. I do 45 miles a day, on a very twisty coastal mountain road. (Umm, you're gonna pay me money to work there AND I get to drive this road every day...YESSSS!) This commute is loaded with hard and fast turns, switchbacks, spectacular 300+ foot drops into the Pacific if you blow it, as well as several suicidal bovine. It ain't a sissy road, especially riding it both ways in sunshine and dark. One of the few times in my life where I need a good tire, not just a round one!! Upon installing this new front tire, I am very pleased with it's performance. Being metric, it is a lower profile than the old tire, and I feel this 1 inch difference in overall diameter has also slightly altered the steering geometry, in essence changing the rake, and providing a more aggressive stance. I hit the corners in full control, the bike goes where I want to! Been running it daily for about 3 weeks now, so far I have also noticed the ability to hit the turns a bit faster and harder. Obviously, I have not thunked into one of the aforementioned bovines yet, as you are reading this review. So far, all is great, I am very pleased with the handling I get from this tire, I'll fill in the tread life and cost benefit portion in several months when I have given this tire a bit of service. Joe
