Hi, I purchased the RK 520XSO X-ring chain and the coinciding clip style master link. The chain is holding up great, but the clip for the master link broke the first time that I installed it. The back plate was pushed on far enough because I could fit the clip between the inside of the pin heads and the back plate without any problems, so there is no reason why the clip should have broken. I love the chain, but I am not happy that a 5$ master link broke before it had any use.

I purchased this kit for my 02 SV 650s, I love the chain. It looks awesome with the gold and black. What I do not like is the master link clip. When I first installed the chain it was fine, but about a month later the clip for the master link was missing. I replaced it, a week later while uncovering the bike I notice it is missing again! I have now replaced the clip 3 times and have had to change it for a rivet master link.
