Shinko 777 Rear Tire

I replaced my Metzeler tires with Shinkos after reading several good reviews. I live in Florida where they use ground up sea shells in the roads which tend to reduce the life of a tire a bit, and I ride a Harley Nightrain which is a fairly heavy bike. I am replacing my back tire after 6,000 miles of riding and the front tire still has a lot of life left in it! It tends to rain in Florida a bit and I have been caught in several powerful thunderstorms on my bike (I keep rain gear in my saddlebag :o)) The tires have never caused me any concern. The grip is very predictable and stable. I would highly recommend putting Shinko on your short list of tires to consider. In my experience they last every bit as long as more expensive tires, ride great and don't look bad either.

I have had nothing but great results from this tire. This tire has already outlasted the high dollar tire that I bought previously (Metzeler). I would highly recommend this tire for cruiser riding. I've been through some corners up and down hills with no problems. Buy one and you will find out.

I just had to comment on these tires I bought these on 2/9/12 and it is now 12/8/12 and I need to only replace the rear tire. Everyone thinks I am crazy that I could not have put that many miles on these tires, but I have put on over 10,000 miles on my scooter since then and that says a lot about these tires. I am back to order again.
