I bought these looking for a little more ankle protection than I was finding in most touring boots out there. I was not disappointed, these boots are spectacular. These were exactly what I was looking for to ride my new 800 gs. I had to walk my bike thru a small stream crossing and they didn't leak one bit, and when I ride all day, my feet are just as comfy when I am done as when I set out. I am very happy with these boots and recommend them to anyone looking for a rugged yet comfy adventure riding boot.
