Head Measurement

Wrap a tape measure horizontally around your forehead. Select the helmet that is the closest fit to that size. A helmet should fit snug on your head. If it moves while wearing, it is too large. If it is painful to wear, it is too small. For proper sizing, your nearest dealer will be able to help you get sized up.

Bought this helmet over the holidays because I needed a new one and liked the modular style with the flip down sun-shield as that's the same features i have on the helmet i am replacing.Fit was very good and sun-shield works great. Two main problems i have is #1, its extremely noisy but only on the left hand side. have been trying to figure out where it coming from but cant, my old 3 yr old helmet with the cheek pads and liner worn out is still quieter on the road than this brand new helmet. took it out of the sealed box and when i opened it up the face shield fell off but was able to get it back on so i thought , no biggie.had a little fogging issue in 30 degree weather but just figured it was from a snug fit from it being new, but today coming home from work in a very light rain I almost had to pull off the road because i couldn't see,couldn't wipe the faceshield clear, had to ride with shield up. I've had several,S&S products and they've all been top notch, but looks to me like they dropped the ball on this one. No complaints with Chaparral,they gave me good service and price and was delivered promptly, not their fault at all on this.
