World Superbike Introduces Newest Phone App
Motorsports enthusiasts are known for their passion. Many of them just can’t get enough of racing and everything that goes into it, and luckily for these fans, the most recent app from World Superbike can bring the action right to their fingertips. As the latest app from World Superbike, which has been releasing similar programs for the past several years, SBK2013 allows fans to add another dimension to their viewing experience.

Available for download on iOS and Android devices, the app offers breaking news and updates, as well as information about top riders like Tom Sykes, Carlos Checa, Marco Melandri, Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam. Users can also access facts about their bikes – everything from the Ducati 1199 Panigale to the Yamaha YZF-R1 – and their chosen motorcycle gear.

Other features included in the app are live timing of several different series, calendars, videos, news updates and downloadable pictures from the events.

Fans who would rather stay connected to just their favorite rider can take advantage of specific apps designed to bring them closer to the competition. Yamaha rider Eugene Laverty is one racer who has his own program, which provides live updates, video clips and analysis, SuperBike magazine reports.
