2018 Thor MX Lineup

As a dirt bike enthusiast this is one of the best times of the year. While we’re still five months away from the new year, this is when we start hearing about all the exciting new things in the pipeline like new bikes models and dirt bike riding gear collections. Most recently Thor released its 2018 x gear collection along with a video of some of their sponsored riders such as Jason Anderson, Marvin Musquin and Chaparral/Yamaha Factory team rider Cooper Webb putting the new riding gear through its paces.

Some of the highlights for the 2018 Thor lineup include the Prime Fit Collection which does away with loose fitting gear flapping in the wind for a more athletic cut. Think of it as skinny jeans and jerseys for the dirt. With compression sleeves, lots of stretch material on the pants the gear set offers an aggressively fitting chassis while still delivering comfort. The Fuse and Fuse Air offer some great colorways with subtle patterns making them a great choice for those who like to downplay their kit and let their riding do the talking. Things get a bit wilder with the Pulse Collections which offers geometric patterns in either broad stripes or a shockwave of smaller stripes slinging in all different directions.

The vented Pulse Air Kits are an excellent choice for when the weather heats up by allowing for plenty of breathability and the tie-dye like color schemes go great with that summertime vibe. Looking to get more riders onboard with the Thor brand, for 2018 the company introduced its new entry-level gear set, the Sector Kits. Even though the pricing for this gear set is on the lower end does that mean it’s of lesser quality. You get some great features like raglans sleeves for easy mobility, moisture wicking materials, stretch panels, and a drop tail to keep the jersey tucked in. And with one set of black pants you can mix and match jersey to create several different looks.
