  • How do I place an order without using a credit card?

    Chaparral offers a wide range of payment options for your convenience.

    You can place on order through the mail using a personal check or money order.

    You can also send the money due through Western Union (Please call 1-800-841-2960 for more details regarding Western Union transactions).

  • When will my order ship?

    Orders that contain in-stock items usually ship the same day if received by 1:00pm PT (4:00pm EST).

  • How long does delivery take?

    Chaparral ships via Ground using UPS and USPS as its carrier to the 48 continental United States.

    Approximate shipping times:
    California: 1-2 business days
    Western US: 2-4 business days
    Midwest: 3-5 business days
    Eastern US: 5-7 business days

    Business day means Monday through Friday, except the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, Christmas Day, Labor Day and Memorial Day.

    Air service delivery orders placed before 1:00pm PT will be shipped same day, pending inventory availability.

    Next Day Air: Delivered the day after the order is shipped. If the order is shipped on Friday, it will not be delivered until Monday. To guarantee delivery on Saturday, Next Day Saturday Delivery service is required. Saturday Delivery service is an extra charge. Please call customer service at 1-800-841-2960 to inquire about Saturday delivery.
    2nd Day Air: Delivered 2 days after the order is shipped. If the order is shipped on Friday, it may not be delivered until Tuesday.
    3 Day Select: Delivered 3 days after the order is shipped. If the order is shipped on Friday, it may not be delivered until Wednesday.

    The free shipping promotion utilizes UPS or USPS for the ground and 2-day air shipping services based on shipping locations. The option to choose which carrier delivers the package is not available. To secure that UPS will be the carrier, please upgrade your shipping to UPS expedited options.

  • I need my order by this weekend. Do you offer expedited shipping?

    Chaparral offers a variety of expedited shipping services to get an order to you by the weekend.

    Air service delivery orders placed before 1:00pm PT will be shipped same day, pending inventory availability.

    Next Day Air: Delivered the day after the order is shipped. If the order is shipped on Friday, it will not be delivered until Monday.   • Why does my backorder item time arrival keep changing?

    Changes in backorder item time arrival is normally due to manufacturing delay. Chaparral understands how important it is to receive your order in a timely manner and we continually replenish our stock to avoid backorder delays.

  • How long do backordered items usually take?

    Items that are on backorder typically arrive to us in 5-7 business days. Chaparral has shipments arriving daily. To check on the status of your order, call our toll free phone number, 1-800-841-2960.

    If by some chance we are unable to fulfill your backorder, orders are canceled after 60 days and notification is sent. You do have the option of extending your backorder by calling or emailing before the cancellation date.

  • What is your return policy?

    A return form is included on the back of your invoice. Be sure to include a copy of your invoice or packing slip if available and write the reason for each returned item. Freight must be paid by the customer. On each item returned for refund rather than exchange, there will be a $10.00 restocking fee. There is no restocking charge on an exchange; only a reshipment fee of $6.00 applies. Tires have a $10.00 reshipment fee. Items returned for exchange and refund must be returned within 14 days from receipt date in original and unused condition (unless defective). Excessive delay in returning items may result in a 20% restocking fee.

  • How long does the return process take?

    Most returns are processed 2-4 days from the time that they are received in our warehouse. Orders taken by credit card will have their credit card refunded 5-7 business days from the time the package was received in our warehouse. If you requested an exchange, the return should be processed and on it's way back to you within 2-5 business days from its received date.

  • What do I do if I receive my order and the package is damaged/missing items?

    Chaparral takes every effort to ensure your package arrives in satisfactory condition by using secure packing materials and utilizing reliable couriers. If you should receive a package that is damaged or missing items, please contact Chaparral immediately. Use our toll free number to contact customer service, 1-800-841-2960. Please do not ship the package back to us. Keep the shipping carton and its packing materials. If the shipment has been damaged by UPS, Chaparral will issue a claim with UPS on your behalf

  • Do you ship international or APO/FPO orders?

    We do ship internationally. All orders are shipped via United States Postal Service. We cannot ship chemicals international or to an APO/FPO. We accept payment in US Funds only. We mail at postage rate card rate for most countries. Please consult your local bank or post office to determine duty or exchange rates.

  • Why am I charged a recycle fee on tires?

    The State of California mandated that sellers of new tires must collect a fee from their customers for each new tire the retailers sell. The current fee is $1.75 per tire. The fee helps the state operate a tire recycling program, administer a waste tire hauler registration program, pay for cleanups related to the disposal of used whole tires, conduct research directed at promoting and developing alternatives to landfill disposal of used whole tires and covers the regulation of the storage of waste tires. This fee is only charged on tires being shipped to a California address.
