This tire SUCKS for long off road rides.
2
I tryed these Tires while i ran the Colorado 1000 run. They are good for the highway, but for Single track< Creeks, Mud, Wet Rock, Steep loose up hill trails... You will be on ur ass! These tires suck for off road! I never fell so many times in my life! I have since taken them off and gave them away! Stick to a good Motocross tire if you are into long off road rides like the Mojave Road or La, Barstow to Vegas runs.

Great dual sport tire for the price

I have run this tire on the rear of my 08 wr250r as well as my 2015 husky fe 501s. As a rear tire its perfect for a 250 dualsport seeing equal off road and highway use. I get close to1500 miles of useful life from this tire on my wr 250r. It also worked well on my 501 husky however I only got about 750 miles out of it. I will say that once the tread wears to about 50% it does lose a lot of grip offroad. Bottom line its hard to beat the price. You can by two for the price of a Dunlop.

I read a lot of reviews before i bought these

Looks like deep tread with ample space between the tread, easy to believe they will get 5k mi. Don't have aftermarket muffler or sprocket upgrade or other upgrades, so i don't there will be any problems with throwing treads and will feel safe on my 650 klr

Good tire for the $

I am updating my previous review. Somehow I gave a good verbal review but missed the some of the star rating system which way under-rated the tires. So I have revised the Star system to match what I wrote. After 5000 miles (2000 of which was Death Valley - half road/half dirt) along with several rides to and thru the desert I stand by my previous statements.I think on the road people feel the knobs flex with speed (think about it you have many small knobs that you can flex with your fingers etc.) and it does not instill confidence... but really the KLR is kind of straining to hit this limit anyways! Most of this feel is on very twisty back roads at higher speeds. But off road I have climbed hills with ease that I could barely climb with the stock tires! At about 20 psi they feel very good on everything from rocky trails and fire roads to sand washes. I did try riding thro

What's the closest size of Kenda K270 should i get to replace 100/100-18 and 80/100-21? I'm not too particular of the width. Thanks!
Bim, Fresno
The 100/100-18 would be like a 4.00-18 and the 80/100-21 would be like a 3.00-21.
