  • Designed for soft, loose conditions - Great for muddy MX tracks and sandy loam

Great front tire
I'm one of those guys who runs a soft-terrain tire for everything. I saw others at the trailhead running these tires so when I needed to replace my Pirelli Scorpion Pro front (which constantly lost side knobs due to rocks) I ordered this tire. It's late winter but we've had a warm spell so the ride consisted of mud rocks hard pack and asphalt but also some snow. This tire did great (better than the Pirelli) in all of these conditions. Never slipped or skidded - it just dug in and bit. Even on the slick wet rocks it managed to find traction. On the highway it acted like a typical knobby which is fine by me. My highway riding is just to get from Trail A to Trail B. I'm quite pleased with the Terrapactor ST and will get the matching rear tire next. After just one 50-mile ride I can't comment on wear but at least all of the knobs are still on it.
