Great Tire

The last set of these Pirelli tires I bought were my first set. They warm up fast and stick to the road very well. They wear pretty quick 2000mi and rear is about done. Didn't rate it low on tread life because it's what I expect with a soft compound. Nothing negative to say about this tire good quality for a good price.
Pros: :
  • Excellent Traction

Great Tires

Amazing tires for the money if you can get on sale or discounted prices like I did from Chaparral. I've been running these on my '94 GSX-R750W since 2008 and love them. I will not however pay full price for them since they DO WEAR FAST! Average for me is two rears and one front for a season. They can get greasy on hot days (100+deg) during spirited riding with continuous acceleration and braking. I doubt if you can get a better set for avg $250 (salediscount prices).

Sticks good if you don't have too much air in it. I started off with 35lbs and if I got on it pretty hard it would just spin out even at 60mph. but warming it up first and having 28lbs it sticks good. Good tire. I have a 1805517 Diablo and it is pretty rounded. Some Pilots and Continentals are more flat than this tire but it should be good for cornering.

  • Excellent Traction
