Best tire on the market
5
This is the best tire in the 1408018 tire size you can get. I've tried a lot of others and they don't hold up. I tried ordering the same tire from another popular website and its not the same tire. The reason this one holds up is that the center lugs are huge! The other tire by the same brand the same name, but, it says scorpion has smaller knobs. The compound on this tire is excellent, no chunks and hard enough that it doesn't wear too fast. Very stiff side wall that is good for off road and its light as well.
Pros: :
  • Traction in the loose stuff
  • Pavement resistant

Awesome grip on and off-road
5
This tire came standard with my 2015 KTM 690 Enduro R. It is a fabulous blend of off-road grippy-ness on desert hard-pack, gravel fire roads and sand. It is also excellent in the Santa Monica canyons - great twisties grip. Like all good compromise tires, they don't last long due to a fairly soft compound. You'll get between 1500 and 2500 miles depending on how much time you are on the freeway. I was at the bottom of that range because I spend 60% of my time on hard freeway driving while getting to the softer off-road stuff.
Pros: :
  • off-road grip
  • Price
  • 50-50 capability
Cons: :
  • Soft, so not very long-lasting

Junk

I used this tire one time with a total of 30 miles on the road and ripped off eight of the center tread lugs. This should definitely not be considered a DOT approved tire.
Cons: :
  • Tread lugs fall off on freeway

Great Tire

This tire has worked great on and off road. It wears very well. The terrain here is very tough on tires and the knobs have held up well under much abuse!
Pros: :
  • Traction

Great Tire

Great tire. Have put 3000 miles on this tire before. The picture doesn't do justice for how aggressive it really is. I believe this tire lasts longer than the Dunlop 606.
