4000 on this tire and no problems
5
I purchased this tire before my trip to Sturgis and road over 4000 miles inthree weeks. The tire still has some nubbs on it and the tire shows little wear. I wore out my Avon tire on trip and have purchased a SHINKO rear tire. I have a Valkyrie Interstate (950 lbs dry) and was impressed with overall performance. The price and durability makes this tire a no brainer. You must maintain the proper air pressure posted on bike to get the best results though. This tire is worth the time to try, don't think you will be disappointed.

Great product

These tires are awesome. I tried every other brand and you just cannot beat the Journey tires. Price and quality are just awesome. Wet or dry they stick.
Pros: :
  • Price and quality
Cons: :
  • I wish it they would last longer but so far they lasted the same as the higher prided tires.

Great for me

Put this on the rear of a Kawasaki Concours ZG100. Previously ran the other two radials available from Dunlop and Avon so my comparison will reflect. Living in the mountains of NC I ride interstate to goat trails. In every aspect I find the Journey equal to the other brands. Two things do stand out: 1) This tire is tall so your steering will be quicker. 2) When it hits the wear bars it does not go away so quickly as the Avon.Otherwise it performed flawlessly. Invisible as a matter of fact giving me the ability to worry about everything else. I like that.
Pros: :
  • traction

Not bad

I'm on my second rear tire the only complaint is the low mileage I got from the first one which was about 6500 miles. I'm hoping to get enough miles out of this new one so I can change my tires as a set if the front will last long enough.
