Two years in the making, the all new Two Brothers Racing M2R Exhaust Canister is taking off-road performance to a whole new level. Two Brothers Racing has taken all the technology of the M-7 and infused it with the only missing element: Serviceability. Now you can have your cake and eat it too. Add in a fresh new design package and you're ready to roll.

Silencer re-packing on the M2R can now be completed in minutes, without removing the muffler from the bike and without having to drill out and replace pop-rivets. The canister is designed with a preformed fiberglass cartridge that is made to easily slide over the core of the canister while still mounted to the bike. Simply remove the outlet, remove the old muffler packing, insert a new replacement cartridge and reinstall the outlet. Its that easy. An industry first ... and long overdue.

V.A.L.E. Fitment (Variable Axis Locking Exhaust)
The V.A.L.E. system is Two Brothers Racings revolutionary and patent pending method of attaching our muffler canisters to the exhaust tube without the use of springs or welding. Two Brothers Racing V.A.L.E. systems allow the muffler assembly - exhaust tube and canister - to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. Once the canister and exhaust tubes are properly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the exhaust tube assuring a perfect, leak-free fit. This system is simple and easy to install, requiring nothing more than a 5mm hex wrench, which is included with every one of Two Brothers Racing's exhaust systems. The X-Lite ring is the next step in the evolution of V.A.L.E. technology. CNC milled from 6061-T6 aluminum, the design of Two Brothers Racing's X-Lite ring efficiently and elegantly removes all unnecessary material from the coupling. This reduces the weight of the part while still maintaining its structural integrity.

Strength from Within
Not all cores are created equal. At Two Brothers Racing mufflers are engineered from the core to the cap. We use a stainless steel wound, perforated and corrugated core on all Two Brothers Racing systems. Core diameter and length varies depending on model needs and the desired performance characteristics. Our Stainless Steel Spiral Core is lighter than traditional cores of the same material and even some of our competitions titanium cores. The Spiral Wound process delivers a 2dB sound decrease, further enhancing our uniquely deep sound attenuation.

Carbon Fiber
We have been using Carbon Fiber in motorcycle mufflers since 1992. We are currently the only US Company to exclusively use Filament Wound Carbon Fiber (FWCF) on every carbon fiber muffler we sell. We draw on only the best high temperature resins, and utilize a proprietary lining system adopted from spacecraft, for additional heat resistance. Our FWCF is continuously wound over a precision machined mandrel for a 100% seamless bond. The FWCF tube is then cured in a high temperature autoclave oven for superior strength and heat resistance. These crucial elements meld to form a precision lightweight muffler that will perform as well as it looks.

Brushed Aluminum
Aluminum is a very lightweight and strong material used extensively in the aerospace, automotive, and of course, motorcycle industries. Aluminum is a wise choice due to its excellent strength to weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and clean look. We use lightweight, thin-wall .060 extruded 6061 aluminum alloy that is heat treated to a T-6 condition for increased strength, durability, hardness, and finish durability. After the aluminum has been heat treated, it is cut to length and brushed to resist scratching from roost. Ounce for ounce, aluminum is the best value of all our M Series mufflers. As a rule, our aluminum mufflers only weigh about 8.3oz. more than our Carbon Fiber mufflers.
