Almost bought the one from Harbor Freight but some reviews indicated it wouldn't work with bikes over 500 lbs which it is actually rated for in its description. But this stand easily supports my 800 lb Triumph Thunderbird 1600 bike. Admittedly the wheel tracks sideways toward the lower lean angle of the bike on the sidestand but even when it reached the frame I could still rotate the wheel just as easily as when it wasn't touching the frame. I have a 200mm wide rear tire and it nearly takes up the entire width of the stand but it didn't matter as it worked great. You have to use some force to turn the wheel but not very much really....Let's face it you're moving the bulk of the weight of the bike itself when you do that so it should be a bit difficult to rotate. I checked with a magnet and all parts appear to be made of aluminum which is great. Very well built. I used the puck on top of a 2 x 4 for a total of 2.5" lift under my sidestand which was as close to vertical as I dared to go and used the brake lever lock also for the rear wheel and it worked great. Be warned however that as the wheel moves toward the lower lean angle sideways it will affect the position of the sidestand on the puck or whatever you've got under the stand so pay attention when using it.

Gimmick! Doesnt work

I tried this product with my Suzuki DL 650 motorcycle that weighs only 430 pounds. The wheel is difficult to turn on the rollers and the wheel veers to the side and is stopped by the frame of the product before the wheel even makes a complete revolution. [A heavier bike would be impossible.] I tried turning the wheel with the bike as vertical as possible but the wheel still veers off to the side. I even tried putting a piece of wood under one end of the product to get it lifted on one side (to counter the wheel from veering to the edge) but it also did not work. Trying to hold the bike vertical and turning the wheel at the same time is impossible. Putting a red brick under the kick stand to help level the bike did not help. Another problem is getting the roller product to be straight with the front and rear wheel is very difficult. If the rollers are not exac

With my 700lb cruiser the back wheel does NOT roll at all and the front wheel is very hard to roll using this wheel cleaning stand. I guess it would be ok for a light weight bike but any cruisers or bigger bikes I would NOT recommend this product. I guess I'll just have to go back to the old fashioned way of rolling my bike back and forth to clean my wheels. I give this product a very LOW rating.
